Number Biscuits
Supplies
- 1 refrigerator biscuit per child
- 1 teaspoon margarine
- 1 bowl of cinnamon-sugar
- assortment of items to top biscuit Examples: candy chips, nuts, cereal, raisins, etc.
Materials
- 1 sheet waxed paper
- 1 foil baking sheet
- bowls for toppings
- plastic spoons for counting topping items
- number cards (write numbers from 0-9 on index cards. Place at beginning of recipe station.)
- oven: convection, conventional, or toaster oven
Directions
- Choose a number card. Get a biscuit and roll to make the shape of the number chosen.
- Brush the biscuit with margarine.
- Choose the same number of items from the choices and press in top of the biscuit.
- Place on baking sheet and bake as directed on biscuit can.
- **For 0, have cinnamon-sugar available as topping.
- Cool and eat.
