As I search my Swetnam family, I discover many names that I was unaware were mine ie: Reed, Christian, Niepman, Simpson and Coleman; Cox, Sutton , Thompson and Edwards are also mine but I was aware of some of them. Genealogy gives us the chance to discover the history of our families. Each new discovery brings more questions and new answers to pursue. Another interesting aspect of genealogy is the chance to meet unknown relatives. This has proved to be a most rewarding experience. I no longer wonder how I will stay busy when I retire. I now look forward to discovering more distant cousins.
