Conrad Reed was born in Germany. History of Montgomery County, Ohio says that Conrad and eight children moved to Clermont County, Ohio in 1816 but to date no record has been found. There are two children recorded in Montgomery County, Ohio. They are:

• Peter Reed born February 26, 1788 in Pennsylvania and died in Madison, Montgomery Co.,  Ohio May 11, 1874 in Montgomery Co., Ohio.
• Elizabeth Reed who married Jacob Bailey from Illinois.
