Travel for most people consists almost entirely of "sight-seeing" - with little lasting
results of impressions. However, travel associated with people, with learning and
ideas takes on new meaning; broadens our horizons, challenges our preconceptions and
causes us to rethink our assumptions. Our study tours are designed to make the traveler
broader minded and more understanding.
Ron Perry was born and raised in the agriculturally rich San Joaquin Valley and is
well qualified to escort tours throughout California. He has farmed east of Tulare for 18
years and has planned and hosted tours for several years. He has traveled extensively
in England and France and has numerous contacts in both countries.
Our tours are primarily designed for small groups of 6 to 20. We find we have more flexibility with a small group and are able to interact more with farmers. The intimacy of a small group also lends itself to more exchange of ideas.
We are also a travel agency and we can make the best travel arrangements possible for you.
Although our farm tours may be designed for the farmer, agribusinessman and agricultural student, they may also appeal to those of us who are interested in gaining more knowledge of agriculture and its people.
